Peter Gatirau Munya is the Cabinet Secretary of Kenya's Ministry of Agriculture. He took over the ministry on 14 January 2020, after being transferred from the Ministry of Trade and Industrialization. He also served in the same capacity in the ministry of East African Community and Northern Corridor Development.
George Ototo, MBS, I-CUDE, is the Managing Director of Kenya Union of Savings & Credit Co-operatives Ltd. (KUSCCO), a post he has held since 2010. Ototo joined the World Council Board of Directors in 2016.
Mr. Ototo has been awarded a State Commendation in the category of the “Moran of the Order of the Burning Spear (MBS)” for his development of SACCOs/Credit Unions in Kenya. He holds an MBA degree in Finance, Law (LLB), and a BA in Mathematics and Economics. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and an International Credit Union Development Educator (I-CUDE).
